Loans for Perth, Built for WA Time

Whether it's a busted ute in Midland, a vet bill in Fremantle or a bond for a new rental in Scarborough, Jingle helps people across Western Australia cover the costs that can't wait. Everything happens online, so there's no branch to visit and nothing to post. That works whether you're in the Perth CBD or out in Kalgoorlie.

One thing most lenders won't tell you: Perth runs two to three hours behind the east coast. Our team works 9am to 5pm AEST, which is 7am to 3pm in Perth, and earlier during east-coast daylight saving. If you need funds the same day, it pays to apply in the morning, Perth time.

When we say “cash loan”, we mean money paid straight into your bank account, not notes over a counter.

What It Costs, in Plain Numbers

You'll see every fee and your total repayment before you sign. Our pricing for WA customers is the same as everywhere else in Australia:

  • Small loans, $500 to $2,000: 20% establishment fee + 4% monthly fee, no interest
  • Medium loans, $2,001 to $5,000: $400 establishment fee + 47.6% p.a. (comparison rate 69.04% p.a.)
  • Large loans, $5,001 to $10,000: no establishment fee, 45% p.a. (comparison rate 45% p.a.)

Comparison rates are true only for the examples given and may not include all fees and charges. See borrowing and loan costs for full representative examples. There are no early repayment fees.

Local WA Help Worth Checking First

We'd rather you borrow less, or not at all, if there's a better option. Before you apply, check these:

  • Struggling with power, gas or water bills? WA's Hardship Utility Grant Scheme (HUGS) can help pay overdue bills with providers like Synergy, Horizon Power, Alinta and Water Corporation. Grants are up to $640 a year south of the 26th parallel and up to $1,060 north of it. Start by calling your provider and asking about their hardship program.
  • No-interest loans for essentials. The No Interest Loan Scheme lends up to $2,000 for things like appliances and car repairs to eligible people. Call 13 64 57.
  • Free financial counselling. The National Debt Helpline (1800 007 007) connects you with a free, independent financial counsellor in WA.
  • Know your rights. Consumer Protection WA (consumerprotection.wa.gov.au) can help with consumer and tenancy questions.

What Perth locals use Jingle for

  • Car repairs: Perth is spread out, and when the car carks it, getting to work gets hard fast.
  • Rent and bond: in WA, your bond is lodged with the Bond Administrator and returned when you move out, subject to the final inspection.
  • Vet bills and medical costs: for when it can't wait for payday.
  • Emergency expenses: the hot water system, the fridge, the washing machine.
