What is a small loan?

A small loan, also known as a Small Amount Credit Contract (SACC) gives you upfront funds to cover expenses that can’t wait. Borrow $500–$2,000 and repay over time, with all fees clearly outlined before you commit.

We believe in responsible lending and will only approve loans we believe you can afford to repay without causing hardship.

Costs

  • Establishment fee: 20% of the amount borrowed
  • Monthly fee: 4% of the amount borrowed, charged each month of the loan term
  • No interest is charged on SACCs
  • Other fees may apply (e.g., default fees) as set out in your loan contract

Example

Loan Amount of $1,000 over 6 months repayable weekly (25 weekly repayments). $1,000 (Principal Amount) + $200 (20% Establishment Fee) + $240 (fees based on 4% per month over 25 weeks) = $1,440 total repayable in 25 weekly installments of $57.60.

For a Small Loan of $2,000 or less, an APR (Annual Percentage Rate) does not apply.

Repeat borrowing restriction

As part of our commitment to responsible lending, we limit repeat borrowing to help prevent customers from entering a cycle of debt.

We cannot approve your application if you have had two or more Small Amount Credit Contracts (SACCs) in the last 90 days.
